We are your local physiotherapy clinic in the heart of downtown Galt. Our office opened in 2007 in beautiful Queens Square in the historic Bread Factory building.

We treat many different conditions, we look forward to getting to know you and create an personalized plan to get you moving again

Let me introduce you to our team.

Elvino B.Sc., P.T., MCPA

Elvino completed the physiotherapy program in Finland where he worked for several years before relocating to Canada in 1994. After arriving in Canada, Elvino went to Queen’s and completed the Canadian physiotherapy program, working in B.C. for two years.

From there, Elvino moved to Cambridge, Ontario and worked as a Clinical Manager for six years before opening Queen’s Square Physiotherapy. Elvino is experienced in spinal injuries, sports injuries, and work-related musculoskeletal injuries. He is also trained in acupuncture and dry needling.

When Elvino is not in the clinic you can find him spending time with family, biking or learning new skills.

Tarja Clinic Manager

Tarja worked in medical administration in Finland prior to relocating to Canada. Once in Canada, Tarja took a position working in office administration with Finland’s Trade Centre and Consulate in Toronto. Then deciding to prioritize the family through the moves to B.C. and back to Cambridge.

Once the clinic opened in 2007 Tarja stepped into the role as clinic manager.

Tarja spends her free time walking the family dog, spending time with the family, biking and crafting.

Henrique Kinesiology Co-Op Student

Henrique is currently in his second year of studies at the University of Waterloo, where he is working towards a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. We are pleased to announce that he will be joining the team for his cooperative work term during the winter season!

Henrique’s understanding of the human body, coupled with his academic pursuits, sets the foundation for a successful path in physiotherapy assistance. Having navigated the dynamic world of sports through a lifelong journey in soccer, Henrique brings a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience to the team.

In his free time, Henrique enjoys going to the gym to stay fit and is also learning to play the guitar, exploring a balance between physical activity and creative interests.
